Today, we will introduce a Bored Ape Yacht Club-themed restaurant named Bored and Hungry that claims to offer a unique dining experience. The menu, food, walls, floor, and exterior of the California-based burger restaurant all are inspired by the iconic Bored Apes.
Bored and Hungry restaurant in Long Beach, California was initially launched as a temporary pop-up. However, after tasting the success, the restaurant turned into a permanent location.
The BAYC bar incorporates hand-drawn spirits on the walls to anchors and signs writing FOMO or FUD Destroyer offering an immersive experience. The entry glass of the restaurant has green slime all over it referencing the Mutant Ape Yacht Club. The burger box or french fries bag consists of Bored Ape or Mutant Ape beside the brand’s logo.
Now, many users might be thinking is Bored and Hungry connected to Yuga Labs? But, the owner of the BAYC bar, Andy Nguyen in an interview with CoinDesk recalled an incident where he once called a Yuga Labs representative. The restaurant is the first one to ever accept ApeCoin payments.
Bored Ape Yacht Club comprises of 10K NFT collection with a 72.69 ETH floor price, and is one of the most valuable NFT projects of all time.
Last but not the least, Bored and Hungry restaurant offers a menu divided into two sections: Boring and Mutant. The boring menu comprises of classic burger recipes with double-smashed patties, American cheese, pickles, and grilled onions. On the other hand, the Mutant menu offers vegetarian and vegan options. Each burger is bundled with Bored’n’Hungry Sauce, fries, and a drink of your choice.
